Comprehensive Assessments (Rule 245G-Compliant)

Bloom Recovery Center Inc. is a licensed substance use disorder treatment provider located in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. We operate under Minnesota DHS Rule 245G, which means every assessment we conduct follows the highest standards of ethics, quality, and compliance.

Our comprehensive assessments are the first and most important step in the recovery journey. During this process, we take the time to understand each client’s history, challenges, strengths, and personal goals. This information allows our clinical team to determine the most appropriate level of care and build a treatment plan that is both effective and personalized.

At Bloom, we know that recovery is never one-size-fits-all. That’s why our assessments are designed to be compassionate, culturally responsive, and client-centered—ensuring each person feels respected, supported, and heard from the very beginning.

Individual Counseling

At Bloom Recovery Center, individual counseling is at the heart of our treatment approach. These one-on-one sessions with a licensed professional give clients a safe and confidential space to explore their personal challenges, set recovery goals, and work through barriers to lasting change.

Our Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs) use evidence-based practices that help clients identify triggers, build healthy coping skills, and develop strategies to maintain long-term recovery. Each counseling plan is tailored to the individual, recognizing that every recovery journey is unique.

We believe healing happens through connection, trust, and respect. That’s why our counselors take the time to truly listen, understand, and support clients as they work toward rebuilding their lives. Whether someone is beginning treatment for the first time or continuing their recovery path, individual counseling provides the personalized guidance and encouragement needed to move forward with confidence.

Group Therapy

Group therapy at Bloom Recovery Center provides clients with the opportunity to heal and grow alongside others who share similar experiences. In a supportive and structured setting, clients come together to learn new skills, share stories, and build connections that reduce isolation and strengthen recovery.

Led by experienced Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs), our group sessions use evidence-based approaches focused on relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and peer support. These sessions are designed to help individuals recognize they are not alone in their struggles and that lasting recovery is possible with the right tools and community.

We believe that healing in a group setting fosters accountability, encouragement, and hope. By connecting with peers, clients not only receive support but also learn to support others—a vital part of building confidence and resilience on the recovery journey.

Family Support & Education

At Bloom Recovery Center, we believe that recovery is strongest when families are involved in the healing process. Substance use disorder impacts not only the individual but also their loved ones, which is why we provide dedicated family support and education services.

Through counseling, workshops, and open communication, families gain a deeper understanding of addiction and the recovery process. Our team helps loved ones learn how to provide healthy support, set boundaries, and rebuild trust while also taking care of their own well-being.

By engaging families, we create a network of encouragement and accountability that strengthens recovery outcomes. At Bloom, we guide both clients and their families toward healing, resilience, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.

Relapse Prevention Planning

Sustaining recovery requires preparation, insight, and ongoing support. At Bloom Recovery Center, our relapse prevention planning services equip clients with the tools and strategies needed to maintain sobriety long-term and navigate life’s challenges confidently.

During these sessions, our Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs) work closely with clients to identify personal triggers, develop coping mechanisms, and create individualized plans that address both high-risk situations and everyday stressors. The goal is to empower clients to anticipate challenges and respond effectively before relapse occurs.

We recognize that recovery is a continuous journey, and relapse prevention is an essential part of that process. By combining evidence-based techniques with personalized guidance, we ensure each client leaves with a clear, actionable plan that fosters resilience, accountability, and long-term success.

Peer Recovery Support Services

Sometimes the most impactful guidance comes from those who have walked the same path. At Bloom Recovery Center, our Peer Recovery Support Services connect clients with trained specialists who have lived experience in recovery. These peers provide mentorship, encouragement, and practical insights that complement clinical care.

Our peer specialists work alongside clients to share strategies for coping with challenges, offer emotional support, and model the possibilities of long-term recovery. By fostering trust and mutual understanding, these relationships help clients feel seen, heard, and motivated throughout their journey.

Peer support is a vital component of holistic recovery, reinforcing accountability, hope, and resilience. At Bloom, we integrate these services seamlessly with counseling, therapy, and care coordination to ensure every client benefits from a comprehensive, supportive network.

Care Coordination

Recovery involves more than just treatment—it encompasses all aspects of a client’s life. At Bloom Recovery Center, our Care Coordination services connect clients with essential resources, including housing, employment, medical care, and mental health support, to create stability and foster long-term success.

Our dedicated team works closely with clients to understand their unique needs and goals, facilitating access to community resources and services that support recovery outside of the clinical setting. By addressing practical challenges alongside therapeutic care, we help clients build a strong foundation for lasting well-being.

Through individualized planning and consistent follow-up, Care Coordination ensures that clients receive comprehensive support tailored to their circumstances. This integrated approach promotes continuity of care, resilience, and a higher likelihood of sustained recovery.
